Results - Week 9

This week was another extremely difficult choice, that came down to another close vote.

I keep saying this, but it keeps being true, that this seems to be the hallmark of the mini-season.

There's some bad news - and some good news as well.

First, the bad news, we are losing:

swirlsofblue

sarcasmoqueen

We also have a tie, which means that there will be another Sudden Death battle, this time between fan favorites

lawchicky and

yachiru

and now the good... the second chance I've been talking about is starting THIS week. I'll be making a post in a little bit. I hope to see all of you - and those who have fallen along the way - fighting for a chance to get back into the game.

We're losing so many people so fast, and I always hate how that feels.

I'm especially sorry that

swirlsofblue got eliminated from my team. She took a chance on writing an entry rather than taking a bye when her day got hijacked, because you just never know.

Fortunately, all of these people will have a Second Chance, which is part of what seems so weird about the deep-cut eliminations. More of an emotional roller-coaster, though that IS in the Idol journal's tagline...

As I'm the one who encouraged her to write and not bye, I feel especially terrible.

I have to say, in all honestly, I don't understand the teams, the voting for teams, and the results of team tallies. :( It is distressing and making the "game" part not fun for me as I'm not understanding the way it works and the reasoning behind it.

It's so triggery for me in that it feels very clique-ish and as though a team-mate is "judged" on the value of the votes that the other teammates receive. But I will refrain here from discussing my outcast misfit years....

Don't feel bad. I made the decision to write instead of taking a bye. Sometimes risks pay off and sometimes they don't, as is life :).

I was so torn by the choice that I realized I had to decide between NOT voting or voting for BOTH my sudden death partner AND myself. In either case the result would be the same. Bummer. That is the burning shit of competition. Someone always loses... in fact ALL OF US will lose except for one.

yachiru are both fantastic writers.

This is getting harder and harder each week. I was so impressed with the writing from everyone this week, I thought everyone knocked it out of the park.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone, especially my team-mates who are awesome, I have had a lovely time taking part this season :).

Also, Gary. Second chance started the week I was voted out last season too. Is this part of some evil plan to not let me have a break ;).

I'm considering not taking part in second chance, but I have no self control so we'll see.

I am sorry to see these people go...: / I like the fact that second chance is being run for few weeks ...hope to see my favourites back in the game..:)
I lost my father- in- law this sunday...his heart didn't support him further...bcoz of which I could not read/ comment. Will be off lj for few days. May try to post something if possible this friday(hopefully).
