Green Room - Week 6 - Weekend Edition

Good afternoon to whatever snowbank you find yourself in today!

(those of you living in parts of the world where there has been a lot of snow)

It was snowing in Florida yesterday. Not accumulating on the group or flurries (although I did hear that some places in the northern part of the state had a "light flurry") but actual snow from the sky was falling.

Which, of course, meant that it had to be a day when I spent the entire time outside.

Not feeling great today. Hopefully some rest and warmth will make everything better.

That's what I hope for you today as well - rest and warmth, and reading Idol entries: http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/886101.html because the poll closes tomorrow evening and there aren't many votes in yet, which means anything can still, and probably will, happen)

It's up to you to make sure that "thing that happens" is something that helps you read more great stuff!

I'm originally from the northeast, attending school in southwestern Florida, and I'd have loved to see some snow. I miss actual winter so fucking much.

I'm from Ohio/PA (around the border) and have lived most of my life in Florida. You couldn't pay me to spend any significant time in snow again. (maybe to look at it and hang out for a few minutes, but not actually have to live with it)

I'm from Maryland, our winters were relatively mild compared to Ohio/PA! So I understand where you're coming from.

someone come shovel these 16 inches of snow I have in my front yard... I'll pay you..

(Thank you winter storm Jonas thanks to you I had a Saturday AND Sunday off with my kid who loves the fucking snow no matter how much mommy hates dealing with it...)

I'll come shovel your yard for $250,000. :3

If I had a quarter of a million dollars I think I would have already managed to get rid of the snow by now. xD

Thanks for the offer, though. :3

(I haven't seen this much snow in like...almost a decade? Shit...)

The adult version of Calvin-and-Hobbes Calvin would surely form some x-rated snow for you, if he were your neighbor.

To go with the road-accident snowmen, the monster-men, the slavedriver-dad snowman, and all the rest.

No snow here, but also coming down with something. These will be cold med fueled comments I'm afraid.

Over two feet of snow outside my window here in New York City, but am managing. I have picked up a nasty chest cough in the past few days, so I'm taking it easy.

We had a little snow through the night. Everything looked dusted with icing sugar when I got up this morning. Nothing like you folks on the other side of the continent. Hope everyone is safe and warm.

No snow where I am (western Oregon). I'm enjoying all the pictures of it that my friends are sharing. :)

Speaking of the poll, fodschwazzle wrote something that knocked my socks off this week, and he could use more love in the vote. :)

Cincinnati got the "NO Storm"! Lol. For once. Just wait. February hasn't happened yet.

Instead I taught Zumba and tutored students.

I'm getting through the entries, fewer than 10 left though it's time to take a break.

Feeling kind of logey, after seemingly dreaming of killing zombies all night, and my hips are seriously protesting whatever went on during my run late yesterday. Faster speed, slightly different gait, and whoa-- creaky around the edges now, in all directions. Ouch.
