I just received an email letting me know that

walkertxkitty has passed away.

It's funny, because I was just thinking about her a couple weeks ago, thinking that I needed to go back and count her weeks in Idol, because she *had to be close* to join the 100 Weeks Club. She went far too soon, both in this season of Idol, and in life.

She was an amazing person and a great friend to Idol and Idolers - as well as being a gifted writer.

She kept talking about how she would one day get down to Tampa to visit. But it just hadn't happened yet.

Fran, you will most definitely be missed.

diagenou please let us know if there is a way to appropriately honor her memory.

Oh no - I'm so sorry to hear of her passing, she seemed like a lovely lady and I'm glad to have gotten acquainted with her through Idol. My condolences to her loved ones.

I've always considered Kitty one of my best cyberfriends here in Idol and will regret not getting to see her in person. I know she spent much of her life in pain and pray that she is at peace.

Note that in her belief system, she has the option to come back, so please be respectful to any stray you meet (on two legs or four)

Thank you everyone - at the moment, I don't have the information, but she'd told us that in lieu of anything like flowers, she wanted people to donate to some charities and things she felt were important.

pshaw_ravenis going to be posting the list and links at her LJ some time this weekend, and I believe she intends to make the post public, so even if you're not friends with her you should be able to see it.

And thanks again. We'll muddle through somehow.

Much love and sympathy to you all during this difficult time. I really enjoyed the virtual time I got to spend with her. She was an excellent writer as well as a wise, kind and thoughtful human being.
