Green Room - Week 31 - Day 5

I just received a phone call from Adnan Syed letting me know that he had absolutely nothing to do with this week's poll: http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/816301.html

I'm not sure what to think though, so I will be exploring this in a 12 part podcast.

In the meantime, make sure you check out that link so that you can weigh the evidence for yourself!

Or take part in the Killing Floor/Home Game and help protect the innocent! http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/815412.html

Who is innocent in YOUR life? Who is most definitely guilty?

i am currently placing blame on dear_tiger. i don't know what she's done, but i'm sure something is her fault. my sister, however, is totally innocent.

oooh, frist!

I am saying like I do at work: "eh, blame it on me, I am most likely guilty of something."

My abusive parents are the cause of all my problems, including and especially the ones that are my fault. *whistles cheerfully*

Just walked out of my microbio finals. I love easy finals. It's like a victory lap.

I try to do something nice for my professors at the end of the semester, because otherwise I'd feel ungrateful, so I baked the professor some cookies and wrote him a card - I also gave him my plague pamphlet from my Y. pestis presentation cause I figured it would amuse him - but he wasn't there, only a TA I'd never seen before. He said I could leave it with him, though. I hope he gets it.

What kind of cookies did you bake?

That was a sweet idea - I hope your prof gets them!

Also, rec post coming through:
This is what stood out to me this week.

I just really like the way bleodswean writes men.

crisp_sobriety is note-perfect this week and manages to draw in a story a bit like a cameo, where you learn more by what's missing.

watching_ships is haunting and vivid.

Thank you!!! So much! And really, that's something that means a lot to me...because men....and writing men....yes.

I'm most definitely guilty. I dunnit. I don't know what I dun, but I dunnit, I'm sure.

I had a really good weekend (so good that I spent all of yesterday frantically writing and trying to catch up with stuff I was behind on), and a really nice birthday. I only wish the weekend had been longer (I need a time machine. Stat).

I've voted! I... am kind of stunned by how small that poll is. There aren't very many of us left. Yipe! Also, I continue to be impressed by the variety, quality, and creativity of stuff produced week after week. :)

Today: catching up on Night Vale, reading slush, writing, writing, writing

Just found out that Rev Peyton's Big Damn Band is coming into town early March.

For those playing "Gary's life Home Game" the singer was who we asked to perform the wedding ceremony and he said that we should come down to where they were staying the next time they came on tour.

So the wedding *would have been* March 14.

There's always next year.

Right now it's all the writers at Les Miserables musical. I have seen 4 different versions of it and that's just the beginning.
