Or maybe that's just me.
I'm currently reading Mr Monster by Dan Wells, which is the sequel to his I'm Not a Serial Killer. (I just looked it up to make sure I got the name right, and found out there is a *third* book as well!)
Getting in the head of a teenage boy who is trying *not* to become a serial killer, despite his leanings toward it, is the kind of thing that tends to linger.
It makes me look forward to this week's eliminations! :)
What is the last book that really sucked you in, and kept you there for awhile?
Speaking of "keeping you there for awhile" - the topic is due today, and people are finally starting to show up! http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/737446.html
For people who have already gotten their work in, and have been reading ahead - there is also some Killing Floor fun going on: http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/739274.html
So get over there and give some constructive criticism!
How was your weekend?
