My favorite has to be "There was too much security, it really put a damper on the festival. They took my weed." followed by several other people saying that they too had their weed taken by security, and that in the future, they should be allowed to smoke it in peace.
Now, this is Florida. It's not, oh say, Colorado (where smoking pot is legal). It's still illegal here. Medical use is on the ballot this year, and hopefully will pass. But we're "not there yet".
So these people not only were smoking it in public. They then go on *facebook*, in a public group so that anyone paying attention to their feed can see that they were caught smoking pot in public. They go to complain - saying that they should have been allowed to do it.
There seem to be some lack of perspective issues involved.

Personally, my hope is that if it ever does pass - and it becomes legal in the state of Florida (and anywhere else I might be in the future) - that they tighten the rules against smoking in general at concerts in general and crack down even harder!
I'm one of those people who do not have a good reaction to a "contact high". The stomach gets queasy and I get a headache. This weekend, I had people in front of me lighting up and then blowing the smoke straight up. Which would have been fine, only they weren't thinking about the fact that there is a thing called wind - and I am taller than them - so it was blowing right back in my face. Definitely not a good experience.
I'm a minority in this. I know. But I'm also a minority with a soapbox! ;)
