For those who have never went through a contestant only round, here's what you do.
Read the entries. You can find them at http://community.livejournal.com/therealljidol/428897.html
If you are a current contestant send me an email clauderainsrm@gmail.com with the names of your 50 favorites of the entries from the week.
I will add them to the vote tally and send you a receipt when I have officially received and recorded them.
(Note: Before anyone asks - it's one vote per person who is participating as a contestant. Which means if you are participating under more than one ID, you get one vote. If (for whatever reason) there is more than one person writing (sometimes happens with multiples and writing accounts) you get one vote.)
This continues until I have heard from everyone OR Tuesday Feb 22nd at 9pm EST, whichever comes first.
How many are we going to lose this week? At least 6 but no more than 15. (People have been through this before know there is a "cut-off" point, a fracture in the votes that is clear when you see it, but I can't predict where it is going to be, so it's a rough guideline.)
If you are not a current contestant - read the entries anyway, and comment. After all, comments are the votes for a writer's soul. :)
Unfortunately, it looks like
apisanthrop, azuriyuu and clintiskeen did not make it to the finish line for this week, and did not have any extra byes to spare. Which means that they have bye-out and are leaving us before we even get started.
