Green Room - Sign Up Week - Day 2
Good morning.
It's nice to see so many not-so-familiar faces! I guess it's nice to see the rest of you too! Well, except that one over there. Seriously? Urgh. :)
Remember - the sign up sheet is still up. http://community.livejournal.com/therealljidol/378800.html
So tell a friend! Tell two friends! Tell a friend to tell an enemy! Tell an enemy to tell a stranger carrying a briefcase, in the park at midnight!
Also, do me - and yourselves - a favor and make the rounds.
Sometimes it can be like the first day of school where everyone who knows each other gathers together in one spot to fill each other in on what they did over the break and they don't notice a lot of the new kids over in the corner. If you are a veteran, take the time to go over and say "hello". If you are a newbie, don't hesitate to walk over and say hello. Most of them are friendly, and nearly all of them some of them a few of them have their shots up to date!!
At one point every single person was a newbie, and remembers what that can be like. So make it a little bit easier on the new generation.
Newbies - if you have a chance to bend the ear of a veteran - do it. Just remember that they are coming in with their own sets of biases and be ready to form your own over the course of the season! :D
