I'm well...seeing as how it's summer every day feels a bit like the weekend. :)

I have written my 4th home game entry for the week, but I'm keeping "The Place That Can Not Be" friends only for now. Not sure how comfortable I am putting it out in public just now.

I wish it was Friday. Then I could spend more time with my husband since it'd be nearly the weekend. I need cuddles.

I am so tired, let me tell you.

I keep waking up at fifteen-minute intervals all night from about 5 am on. This morning, I could barely pull myself out of bed.

Hopefully, by the end of Friday, I will have gotten in to see some new apartments since I have to move last-minute. Bah!

Just got back from picking up my SIL and her family from the airport and driving them to another SIL's.

My body is currently complaining that it shouldn't be in work wake-up mode :p

My mom always told me that a gentleman doesn't talk about vuvuzelas in polite conversation.

Today sucks so far.

Also, this is the second day translations are brought up in the Green Room. I'm more than a little worried. :P

Tomorrow I get to meet up w an old Florida State Univ dorm friend. We re- found each other on MySpace and FaceBook a year ago. It's been almost 30 years. I'm looking forward to that. For today, it's more packing. We finish off The Mothership's clothes and computer desk it's. ''puter itself goes bye bye on Saturday AM when we return the modem to Comcast. Then we sorta go " camp" back at my brother's in Tampa till the 28 th, when we fly home to Ohio. This trip has been a whirlwind, I tell ya!

Speaking of whirlwinds, anyone know about a possible hurricane in the Atlantic, en route to Puerto Rico and predicted to work northward to Florida?

It's felt like Friday all week for me too, which is fucking rude on a Monday when I'm looking at a shit-ton of work for the week.

At least yesterday's Friday night was vastly improved by a visit to an abandoned Halloween "haunted house/trail" kind of thing set up in a sprawling old sand mine. Got home far too late and got way too little sleep, but I feel better than I have the rest of the week, so I suppose it evens out.

My iPhone can now make one of the most annoying sounds I have ever heard. Stupid ap, but I will use it if if we ever get a goal that counts!!

Eta: OMG what an awesome win!!!! A goal in the 91st minute to take the game and the lead for group D.

Hello!

Last night I did some more bead making and it was fun. Once my pal bakes them, I'll have the makings for a really lovely necklace and possibly some earrings. Crafting is fun!

Tonight I will be going to a CD release party (for a group I've never heard of) and Hip Hop open mic night. Not the sort of thing I would typically go to--but one of my old college friends sent me the invitation, and my good friend Jessica and I are trying to be more adventurous. So, hey, it sounds like fun, yeah?

I have been thinking it was Thursday all week! I am so ready for Friday.

Still brainstorming on my entry and generally hating all of my ideas. So it's a typical day in LJ Idol World. ;)

I'm in a quandry about Friday. I want the weekend to show up, BUT I have a case that needs to settle before then.. otherwise I'll probably be working LONG hours on Sunday, so I could use the next couple of days to be seriously productive.

I settled three cases yesterday though, so hopefully I have some good settlement karma this week.

The good news is that one of my friends is visiting NYC from Michigan on Saturday and I can't wait to see her and her husband/kids.

I've already started working on day 2 of my trip report, and should be able to finish that tonight if I have any luck at all. My goal is to finish it before September 30th, so I need to get cracking on it.. one day a week isn't going to cut it!

I never remember what day of the week it is. That happens when you are unemployed and every day is Saturday.

Though I have a phone interview today for a job I really would like a lot. It would require me to move far away though, but I'm excited at that prospect actually. I love being home, but I have decided with everything going on in my life, that I need to live a little.

Let's hope I am not unemployed for much longer :)

Oh and I am trying to do more exciting things and think I just volunteered for something really freaking crazy....so ummm if I were a month of the year, what month would I be? October and May are already taken :-p

So...apparently there was an earthquake? I felt it and thought it was just some of the building maintenance guys moving heavy machinery around for some reason or other, though it didn't seem like the normal rumble of heavy-things-moving.
