Green Room - Week 24 - Day 5

I just looked up some lyrics this morning and found out that the line I was looking for was "everything that you know has been some accident".

Which is still good. But for some reason I *thought* the line was "everyONE that you know has been some accident" - and I thought that was far more of a statement.*G*

So what did you think was going to happen this week - and what has actually been happening?

Who do you think will get through this week? (since we won't know until all the votes are counted who *actually will*)

Who did you think would be "first" and who was actually the one to get it?

And of course - Who was that man? I want to shake his hand. He made my baby fall in love with me.

Good morning!

Some pretty heavy stuff has happened around our city this week (see my journal for the details), but we keep waking up and will ourselves into a good day.

How are YOU doing?

"Who put the..." was my favorite song ever in grade school. I even sang it in a talent show.

We had a class skit involving it. I think I still have the poodle skirt my mother made me somewhere...

It was an interesting twist but I am use to interesting twists from you by now *grin*

I've read and voted and await the outcome.

I am now wondering what the song is that you looked up.

I sometimes look up song lyrics online and think that the website is wrong. But, I can't think of an example off the top of my head.

The song that is currently stuck in my head goes like this:

"Never walk away from a fight that's worth fighting
Never hesitate when you know you're going to act
Never waste words on a fool who won't listen
And never sell your soul because you'll never buy it
Back."

Did anyone ever laugh themselves to sleep? I did last night. Pretty weird actually. I amuse myself sometimes.

Today I am in new york, in a few hours we will drop scott off at the airport and then drive to massachusetts and play in what's left of the snow for a few days.

That sounds like a great way to get to sleep! I do sometimes think of weird things just as I'm falling asleep. They make me laugh, and my husband wants me to explain, but they're so surreal he wouldn't get it.

Regarding immunity, I said I will pick the entry that I liked the best fair and square. I think they were all amazing, however I am pretty torn between 4 entries, because they all struck me pretty hard. In 4 completely different ways.

This is the first and probably the only time I will do this, but feel free to e-mail me at boxsofrain@aol.com or leave a comment if you want to voice your opinion on who deserves it.

Is there a deadline to get our opinions to you? I haven't read but one or two of the entries as yet. You can have your own private Jury! ;)

crap. I need to vot yet. :(

I've been trying not to get behind, and I'm still feeling out of it. I still need to come up with something for a com I'm in. But for writing things my brain has gone blank. :(

Mom has a colonoscope today, I think she should be out by now, or something. Or just starting. I can't remember. She won't be home for a while though.

It's hump day, yea!

I expected a rough week with the kids I nanny, but yesterday was a surprisingly easy and good day for the little ones! But then the power went out last night (a great start to my birthday) and the 2 year old woke up screaming without her nightlight.

Today has continued in that bent with her making herself throw up all over her toast after the power came back on. So maybe I was right about the bad week with the kids after all.

There are still some songs I sing "wrong" just because I like the way my lyrics sound better... One would be Jessica Andrews' Who I Am, but at least in that one I'm substituting my grandmother's name for Rosemary. The others are a little embarrassing.

Who put the bomp in the bomp-bomp-bomp-ba-bomp? :)

I'm doing fine this morning - had a follow-up mammogram on the left boob, and it turns out that the concern was just a benign intermammary lymph node, phew!

So yay for healthy bewbies! :)

I put the dip in the dippty-dippty-dip, and I put the bop in the bop-da-bo-da-bop. I also put the ram in the rama-lama-ding-dong.

I also have a doctor's appointment this week.

I will take a stand and say that I don't think kittenboo will make it. Her piece this week was derivative of previous entries by both srs_bidness and emo_snal.

I'd be more active but I'm at home sick with the stomach flu or something. Plus, RL drama. Why is internet drama much more fun than RL drama?
