Green Room - Week 2 - Day 8

I hope that something has awaken inside of you - because today is the last day of the polls!!  and is where our own space opera is going down!

The forces of good and evil are battling it out!  (Of course everyone thinks they are the good side...)

Can you believe it's only one week until we celebrate the birth of Santa*????

(*Note: That's the official Idol Holiday/"reason for the season" - Birth of Santa. Your seasonal holidays may vary. They are incorrect.)

Results - Week 2

It's week 2 and we already have our first scheduled Death Match!

The Rivals ended in a tie, which means thatspydielives and vik_thor will be going head to head next week!

With the Friends, it came down to the average of 1 vote.  Which I know doesnt make anyone feel any better - but it does show just how much that a single vote can impact how things are going to go.

The losing team was Team Raspberry Pi

Which means that this week we are saying goodbye to the one and only grail76!

I really hope that we will see you in the Home Game, and ultizing any chance to come back that will be coming your way!

Topic - Week 3

People have asked, "Hey Gary - are you going to show us mercy this mini-season? It's the holidays after all!:

To which I say there are many holidays during the month of December, and I haven't given any of them time off! ;)

I am going to give you something rare and unusual for Idol - an extended time period to write.  Because I know this next week is going to be hell on some people's schedules.

That said,  since all of the topics were sent in by your fellow contestants this season, I'm going to make it interesting by throwing in some extra choices.

You only have to write one entry from any of these choices:

Usichokoze nyuki

and post your link back to this thread by Monday, Dec 28th at 8pm EST!

Have fun!

Work Room - Week 3

You're a clever bunch. You know a lot of things.

But what happens when you come across something you don't know?  Like, for instance, our new topic choices!

Where do you start in researching it?

More to the point, how do you take this new term and find a way to get the heart of it into something that's authentically you?  After all, that is what you are doing - putting YOU down on a page for other people to experience.

It's not about "How do I fit this word or phrase into a story?"  It's about taking the concept and turning it enough that it's something you can relate to - something that you understand and can explore, in a way that is uniquely your own.

This is good place to hammer out those ideas, share discoveries as well as form any new teams or jump onto existing ones!
