Green Room - Week 14 - Day 2
Here is in the information you need for today:
There's the topic for the main competition - https://therealljidol.livejournal.com/1109690.html
as well as the topic for Second Chance - https://therealljidol.livejournal.com/1109884.html
and a Work Room that covers them both! https://therealljidol.livejournal.com/1110269.html
***
and here's a story. (the short version)
So I ordered food to be delivered today. From GrubHub.
Not only did it not come, I received a notice about 10 minutes after it should have arrived saying that it was cancelled because the restaurant only accepted cash.
Which is weird because they are accepting orders online - and of course, I've been to this place quite a few times, and they take credit cards.
At this point, I'm pissed *and* hungry - so I check out other services - and see that UberEats also takes orders from that restaurant.
So I roll the dice and place *the same exact order*... only it's a lot cheaper (because they don't have as high of service fees, which I didn't know).
It arrives *ahead of schedule*. Apparently this mysterious "cash only" policy ceased to exist in a span of a half hour! ;)
I went to their social media page and apparently *a lot* of folks are having a problem with this delivery service.
tl;dr - don't use GrubHub.
