(1) Yesterday afternoon I was visited by three ghosts who showed me the true meaning of the spirit of the season.
(2) I was always planning on everyone being safe, hence my reference to a "miracle" in yesterday's Green Room - but a surprise last minute call from my niece Mackenzie asking if I wanted to go see the Christmas lights over at Disney Springs meant that I had the choice of closing the polls and announcing it early or trying to do all that from my phone in a place with spotty wifi.
Yeah, you're right. Those ghosts were pretty scary.
