This is one of those "weird weeks" for me - we have a team holiday party/team building today that is going to take up most of the afternoon.
Tomorrow an old friend of mine (and Idols) will be in town so I'm meeting up with him.
and then on Friday there is the regular holiday party.
Not sure how much work we are actually going to get done. Then again, I'm not sure how much we are going to get done Christmas week either! So I'm betting next week is going to be non-stop busy.

Why would you friend request someone on social media that you didn't actually like?
This may seem to be out of nowhere. Which, it is. But it's been on my mind the last couple of days. Quite some time ago, I received a friends request from someone that I thought didn't like me. I thought "maybe I'm wrong" and accepted it. We never really interacted much, except in a small online community.... where he made it clear that he didn't really like me much.
Eventually I got tired of it and unfriended him a few months ago.
A couple days ago I got another request from him. Do people do it for appearances sake? "I'm friends with everyone" or just a numbers thing? it's just really weird. Why bother with people you don't actually like?
