A few words from Gary:
The stretch from US Thanksgiving to New Years Eve is traditionally the roughest part of Idol. (Well, the roughest non-twist part of Idol at any rate). It’s when we start having the highest drop/death toll due to hitting the minefields of holiday plans throughout the month of December and people’s focus dropping away from everything that is shiny multi-color lights.
Which is why we are saying goodbye to a combination of newbies that I was really excited about seeing more from, and old friends. Goodbye toalcat666,
Thank you for coming out this season. I hope that we will see you in Second Chance once that begins. Until then though, I hope you will Home Game, and that we will continue to see you in the Green Room!
As for the rest of you - the topic this week was “My True North”.
It’s now time to see who is headed north, and who is about to have their dreams go south.
