Results - Week 2

It's the second week, but the first eliminations of the season.

I'm not surprised to see how close the polls were this week. I suspect that is going to be a recurring theme, where only a couple votes end up deciding who gets to stay and who is eliminated from the competition.

I've mentioned that there will be a Second Chance in a few months, a shot for those eliminated to fight their way back into the competition. I hope that folks leaving us in the coming weeks will take advantage of that.

For the moment though, there is only the act of saying goodbye.

We are losing two this week, one from each tribe.

With a single vote difference between elimination and a three way tie, we are, unfortunately, saying goodbye to dreamwriters from Poll 1.

In Poll 2, it also came down to a single vote. In this case it would have been a duel. But unfortunately we are saying goodbye to mrstotten.

Two Idol veterans leaving us in the same early week, both by a single vote. Which just goes to show you how important it is to get out there and support your favorites!
