This week is definitely following suit with that standard.
It would have been regardless of the result. But there's something special with this time...
because this isn't just a regular elimination. There's two announcements that are in play as well.
Before we get to that though, I want to congratulate
So even if she didn't recall, she was guaranteed a spot in the final 4.
With that out of the way, it's time for the bad news. BY A SINGLE VOTE - We are losing
What some of you know is that isn't the name everyone knows her by - she was one of two people left playing with an alias. Which also meant that several weeks ago, I couldn't make the announcement I wanted to make...
that we had a new member of the 100 Week Club! (actually it's 109 now)
Congratulations
I hope we will see you around supporting your favorites!
Thank you for being awesome.

I wanted to play under an alt this go-around to finally prove to myself that I could do it - - that I'd make it to the Top 20 as a virtual unknown.
I made it farther than I thought I would.
Thank you to everyone who read my pieces each week. I'm grateful for the lovely comments and the chance I had to compete. This year, I was in a house fire, broke up with my partner, was subsequently stalked and harassed by him, and lost the woman I considered my mother. Idol is one of the few things that held me together through it all, as I completed my candidacy exam, taught a three day course in Texas, and went to three conferences in as many months.
Now, onto the next thing! I am defending my PhD thesis in a little over two months. I'm in writing Hell, but that's normal, apparently. With any luck, by Christmas everyone will have to call me "doctor".
Thank you, Gary, for the opportunity. I'm glad to join the 100 Weeks club - - I'm in good company. :) Here's to the next opportunity!
I've enjoyed reading your stuff all season and am astonished that with everything else going on you kept writing.
You wrote amazing stories this round, and you made it look easy-- especially with what was going on in the background.
Congrats on Top 5, and on the 100Weeks!
House fire on March 11th, candidacy exam on March 14th, ACS SF April 1-6, broke up with my ex at the beginning of May, found out my grandmother was dying on May 17th, and she died on June 11th.
I'm still not entirely sure how I survived, but here we are.
Damn.
Well, as it turns out, you are secretly Superwoman. Which is probably a secret only to you and your family... Sure glad Max was there to help you through it!
