Work Room - Week 22

Here we are at the Top 20, and with some pretty big choices in front of us -

You can Turn Back or Forge Ahead.

Or you can go with a Winnie the Pooh reference. :) http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/1026063.html

Whatever you decide, now or from this point forward - the end of Season 10 is within sight. There are going to be some obstacles, but there is just a little while to go. Now that we've officially entered Summer - despite being a small and rather unusual season, we've have gone through all of the calendar cycles together, and it's time to make sure that every week you are bringing whatever you can to the table!

Obviously, the Work Room is where you hash out ideas. So, what ideas (that you can share) do you have for how you are going to make it to the end from here? ;)

So, what ideas (that you can share) do you have for how you are going to make it to the end from here? ;)

The thing that must be remembered from here on out is that there are no plans, no notions that will help you make it to the end from here. The best you can do is write a piece you think is worthwhile and watch what happens. Yes, you can get people to beta read, which is a useful tool if it's available to you. But even that is no guarantee that you'll survive that week.

There is precious little control over what you can do. Aside from writing something you feel moved by, which you should be doing anyway, just do something you like.

Plus we only have half a week to get our entries in!

Putting it here so I can find it again and for anyone else who needs it - the relevant Winnie the Pooh quote:

"Next to [Piglet's] house was a piece of broken board which had: "TRESPASSERS WILL" on it. When Christopher Robin asked Piglet what it meant, he said it was his grandfather's name, which was short for Trespassers William. And his grandfather had had two names in case he lost one — Trespassers after an uncle, and William after Trespassers."

I so thought you were referencing the band. >_>

I'm struggling to write anything at all right now honestly. It's difficult enough getting out of bed in the morning.

Ugh. Those times are terrible.

Here's my philosophy when things suck. Things will change. That's what life is - continual change. When things are terrible, I know they won't stay bad forever because the world is still turning. Sadly, it goes the same for good times as well - it won't always be great so I do my best to appreciate the hell out of life when it is good!

Change is always on the horizon. For better or worse. I hope you are out of the shadows soon. *Hugs*

When I googled the first thing it took me to was the band. So if they speak to you this week - use it.

Someone besides me is posting anonymously. It will be confusing if we don't use our names in the comments.

If Gary doesn't get around to an actual home game post, you can always put yours up in the next green room. Or keep clamoring for a home game post, if enough people do one usually appears.

I successfully wrote an entry that covers BOTH topics and just by using them as prompts.

My suggestion always
don't take the prompts as more than just that...
roll with them to create a story, a poem, a memory...

just roll.
