Green Room - Week 8 - Day 4

Remember that time when your favorite singer-songwriter wrote a song about your upcoming wedding? Yeah, me too.

Good times. I assume this is just something that happens, right? ;)

***

What is something that has "just happened" to you? Other than me kicking you. Which is about to happen. Better brace yourself.

Because the deadline is tomorrow and the topic thread needs a LOT more love: http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/977744.html Mass elimination *is not* what I asked for as a wedding present. So let's not do that, OK? ;)

If you still need some help, pop into the Work Room: http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/978031.html

You can't kick me! First because I am FIRST and also because I just loved the topic thread.

Besides, if you kick me I'll unleash the Danish Clowns.

ETA: Okay, well now I'm technically not first but the clown threat still stands.

Our " Wedding song" was " Just the Way You Are" by Billy Joel. That dates me! Lol.

It's been a long time since I heard an acoustic guitar. Is that you, Gary? Did you write the song? I enjoyed it! Whomever it was, I enjoyed it.

Me? OMG, no. That's Micah Schnabel who is the lead singer of Two Cow Garage (as well as a solo artist).

Two Cow Garage is an excellent name for a band.

Gotta love nor'easters :p We're in the midst of the heaviest, blinding band of snow right now. It's coming down so hard that I can barely see out my kitchen window.

Thank god I was off from work today. As it is, I'm dreading going in tomorrow when the windchill factor is supposedly going to be below 0F :brr:

I just saw on the news how awful it is for you. Please stay safe, and warm.

We went from almost 80 yesterday to barely 45 today because of what's hitting us in AR. Ya'll be safe/careful/warm up there!

Well, let's see. What has happened to me? I've been off work for five days now. Tomorrow will be six days, and I go back to work on Saturday. We had a little snow storm on Sunday, and I decided that I wasn't driving in that stuff. Washington drivers, despite living in a state that rains 9 months out of the year, can't drive in the rain. That means they certainly can't drive in the snow, and I wasn't going to risk my life just so I can slave away to enable an addiction (gambling).

I actually have today and Friday off because I requested them off.

I've been on the sick side for a little over a week now with a sinus infection which has now turned into a chest cold.

I got my new toy today that I bought with my tax return. I'm using it right now, and it is actually better than my PC.

Also, last night while I was laying in bed watching Korean Dramas, I came up with an idea for the topic (finally). It is probably on the generic side, but at least it is an idea.

That has been my week. Now I will return to playing with my new laptop. It is so shiny and new!
