Some good stuff this time in the topic thread! I've been really enjoying how people have been interpreting the prompt. My favourite so far has been oneonthefence - she wrote a heartbreakingly gorgeous piece.

I'm wearing old pajamas and honey badger don't care. It's 12:41 and I'm waiting to get tired . . . it's not happening yet.

GOOD LAWD, I have finally finished writing this week's piece..I tried my hand at fiction and I am a bit nervy but also had a lot of fun writing this so it's all worth it!

I am unfortunately not wearing any capes, so am therefore not wearing anything worth mentioning.

A sweatshirt and Tweety boxers. I AIN'T CHANGING FOR YOU, OR FOR ANYBODY.

Ah ha! I did NOT choose to wear this today. I chose to wear it yesterday and forgot that I had to do that daily.

I apologize to the people of all livejournal for any offense my lack of fashion sense may have caused.

I'm sorry, I didn't put any thought into what I threw on today, but I happen to like the t-shirt I got from supporting a short lesbian steampunk film on Indiegogo :P

I am popping into the GR today because I haven't for a while, and it's up at an appropriate hour for me to be here. I honestly didn't think I was going to get an entry in this week for the first day the prompt was up. I couldn't think of anything until I was in the shower yesterday. This may have had something to do with the fact I was hanging out with a friend for most of the day, and we went out to see comedy, and then I brought home another friend who didn't have a place to sleep.

I didn't have time to write yesterday since I again was hanging out with the friend I spent Tuesday with, but since I knew what I wanted to write about by then, we spent some time talking about it, and the conversation ended up being my entry! It honestly seemed like the best way for me to express the things I wanted to say on the subject.

My social life has somehow skyrocketed just in this last week, I have no idea what happened. Today I even had a newly relocated to KL expat contact me because we share interests so I might be adding another person on my hang out list. This is on top of the neighbour I met recently whose daughter is the same age as my youngest son. Crazy! I'm not sure how I'm going to have time for all the writing and editing I want/need to do, let alone reading. :/

I am done with time to spare! Time to pass out now because work is going to be really fun.

I'm 40 years old and they have know for over 30 years that I am completely crazy.
So what if I were a long night shirt with shorts over long Johns and knee high "Abby" socks.
Its comfertable
Besides its not like I'm going to be outside today.
Ok. I would dress like this anyway but it is part of my job to go forth and imbarise my preteen and teenage children.
Also I think people might start to worry if I start dressing up.
There would be chaos in the stores and rioting in the streets.
They would be sure that I was preparing for the ultimate conquest of the world.

That big storm down south with the tornadoes and rain? It's RIGHT HERE. They're saying on the news the wind gusts are up to 50 mph, so expect some damage. I have images of the wind pushing me down the highway on my way to work :shudder:

And, oh, it can stay the same temperature it is right now. It doesn't have to go back to to seasonably cold. It really doesn't.

I change for no man! Except once when I get sent home for a dress being inappropriate. I was in a right mind to wear it again the next day. It came down past my fingertips, and wasn't tight or revealing, I still don't know what the issue was.

T-shirt and pajama pants? I work from home, so I'll wear whatever I want. Although I should consider brushing my hair after I've had my coffee. :-p

Naaaaaah, I think I'll keep wearing them, thank. ;) They're comfy and that's what I want, right now.

I know exactly what people are going to say -- absolutely nothing, because I don't leave the house in my nightclothes. ;)

It's about to be bedtime, if I can get this entry sorted out. Draft three and it's looking like this is a scrap-and-rewrite one as well. *sigh*

Do you know how hard it is to find an outfit appropriate for work AND an uncasking of fancy French cider at the bar? I didn't really have much else I COULD have worn.

So I missed what I'm sure was a great discussion yesterday. Will have to catch up on that sometime this afternoon. The middles of my work weeks are the most packed this term and I don't know whether I'm coming or going most of the the time.

I'm wearing my flannel jammies with the pink owls. :) They are warm and cozy. I don't usually leave the house in them, but supposing there was an emergency and I didn't have time to change my outfit, I can certainly think of more embarrassing things I could be wearing. Actually, I think I look pretty darned cute.

(Is this post a commentary on all the brouhaha over Lena Dunham's fashion sense?)

I am working from home today, banging away at more HTML for this cranky website, and thus my BLOOM COUNTY t-shirt with Portnoy, Opus, Hodge-Podge, and Cutter John careening along in the Starchair Enterpoop, captioned "Ahead Warp Zillion!!!", is thoroughly appropriate.

Somewhere along the way I need to fit in writing an entry for this week's topic.

Sometimes I feel like Gary is some kind of combination of a Doombot and my mom. Yes, I am going out of the house dressed like this YOU'RE NOT THE BOSS OF ME (and I'm not in LJ Idol Exhibit A so that is literally the case.)

It's the plot zombie opocolips! ;p

Wait ..... **sigh of relief** today is Thursday. Purple Friday is tomorrow. Gave me quite the scare there.

Like the last prompt, an idea came right to me and I am happy with that. It was the first really personal thing I have written though and that was weird to have feelings after writing something that I ACTUALLY had to deal with again.
I look really comfy in a scarf and matching hat today despite feeling like garbage. I don't know what I have but death seems a better option at times.
Oh well. This is helping me greatly and I Look forward to some cozy reading!!
