Just when you thought it was safe to go back to Livejournal - it’s the Week 1 poll of LJ Idol: Exhibit A!

There will be thrills, spills, chills and licenses to get ill...

Unfortunately, what there won’t be is a big surprise. Because I was going to reveal it at the end of Week 1. Circumstances though did not work out in my favor. So, I’m going to tell you now instead!

But before we get into that, there were several people who did not make it to the starting line for this week. They are:

elizabethsheryl
heatherenchantd
and liret

There are a couple of them who I believe have opted out of competing without mentioning it. But there are also some in that list who I believe just plain missed the deadline. Whatever the reason though, they are no longer in the main competition.

HOWEVER, they have one more chance - and that is the thing that I wanted to spring on you at the end of this round but am telling you now...

From now, until I announce otherwise, if you are eliminated from the main competition, you will have another shot at getting back in - Second Chance Idol!

In the spirit of Last Chance Kitchen and Redemption Island, this means dead isn’t necessarily dead.

But you know what? The easiest path is to not get eliminated in the first place! So, don’t! ;)

For 5 contestants with the fewest votes who will be eliminated from the main competition when the poll closes though, there will be one more chance!

Hopefully one of them won’t be you!
