It’s been a strange week. So, of course, that was going to continue to the poll itself.
This week features two announced sacrifices. Which, sort of takes the fun out of it! Why would you tell people they would be safe? Especially since so many people guessed that the tribes would be broken up along topic lines!
Which, they totally were.
Fortunately, both sacrifices are coming from the same tribe. The Disappear group. So it really only saves one person!
My instinct would be to go for the throat of the biggest group. But since they are already losing two members, I decided not to do that.
Instead, since they will not be feeling the pressure of “will I be leaving this week?”, I’m throwing out an additional duty on them. Each member of that tribe, needs to send me (clauderainsrm@gmail.com) their top two entries, from someone NOT in their group by Monday,June 4th at 8pm EDT. The person who receives the most votes, will receive an immunity good for until the Top 25!
In addition, the person with the most votes in that tribe, will receive a bye that must be given away, also good to the Top 25. Sure, it doesn’t directly benefit them, but they can be someone else’s hero! Which never hurts!
Obviously, the two sacrifcing are not eligible to win the bye.
For the other tribes, they will be losing the person who wrote the entry with the fewest votes. Which means, ultimately, we will be losing five contestants this week.
In the past, contestants usually managed to split themselves up fairly evenly. This time, that wasn’t the case. Which should certainly make for some interesting results!
So make sure you get out there and read everything, and comment to them, and support your favorites!

Instead of saying the person with the lowest votes.... Think it means something? ;)
I do have a question for all my fellow Idolers, but it can wait until the next Green Room -- I'm sure most of you folks are too tense right now to deal with inane questions. Besides, even though I "missed the deadline", I have one more Home Game entry that I'd like to put up before I go to bed tonight. I'd better get started on that...
And there's a new issue with the poll. My poll was automatically checking the ticky boxes when I clicked the "entry" link to view the entry.
I'm surprised that they "fixed" it so that it does that again! Well, OK, I shouldn't be too surprised!
Ironically, both our entries could have fitted the disappear entries just as well, which is of course why that group was the biggest. Just the easiest to mash everything into. I did a look through before I posted mine and decided to go with Appropriation because almost none had picked it. Yes, I did feel sorry for the poor subject ;)-
And of course now I realize that Gary had to split it into tribes to speed things up, because otherwise this season would drag forever since we should have lost seven people by this time but did not... so yeah. Silent facepalm here.
Though I suppose at least I was saved by the broken router since I would not have had time to enter an entry had that not happened.
Oh life and Idol, equally insane and unpredictable.
But I still wrote um up.
You all might prefer to just read the first two and skip dissapear.
I did a ten day mime thing thats on my lj tho two are not public.
Life is weird in many ways right now. Have a couple of days to read and sort my addled brain out. Hope that's enough.

And no, only disappear has to send votes in. No worries.
But with a couple days' worth of hindsight, I will say that the "disappear" entry of my set is maybe not the one to read if you read only one. It's fine, but it's the last one I wrote, it's the longest of the set, and the most ridiculous, and the most hurried / potentially involved or confusing in covered ground (it tries to tie all the missing details from the first three stories together). I still think it holds together as a self-contained whatzit, but I also suspect it's the least enjoyable entry of the four unless you've already read the first three. If that makes any sense.
I'll put a further edit in my "gateway portal" entry to this effect.

One of them will get me this month. Now a dillema do I have the epidural and stay awake? sort of tempted, they will put music in my ears to cover the hammer....?
