I can't be the first when Gary posts them at 7 in the morning because I sleep at 7 in the morning, but I don't sleep at... 11:30 at night.

I guess I could put in a real comment. I am thisclose to paying off my car with my tax refund (ever since I found out my car doesn't have a timing belt, so I don't need to worry about replacing it.)
Miss Kitty ate up a chunk of that though, so I can't pay all of it off this month as planned. But next month is likely. That extra money will come in handy... to pay off medical and vet bills :)

Have an awesome Thursday everyone. Just to put your mind at rest, it's 5pm here and the world didn't end! Yay! That does mean, of course, that you're still going to have to: go to that boring meeting/clean the toilet/shower/buy groceries. But on the bright side, it's almost Friday!

Or maybe I can drag my husband away from his writing long enough to go see a movie :) I really want to see The Woman in Black AND The Muppets, both of which I've heard great things about. I can go for ages thinking there's nothing good at the cinema, and now two at once!

...But a big plus-sized BOO to the fact that my connection to the client whose code I'm messing with drops if I'm not active in the system for like half a second. I go to look at a spec, and my connection is hung when I go back to my code. Then it drops and I have to wait 30 minutes or so to get back in. Wahhhhh.
That said, the changes I made yesterday are working, so I'm being productive, just very slowly and frustratingly.
Instead, I ended up getting really sick after dinner. I wonder if maybe something I ate gave me food poisoning.
I called out of work today. That means I have the whole day to write my entry now, although I may go lie down for a bit first.
The worst of it is over with, but I'm still fairly dehydrated and just feel generally icky.
Seriously though, I had bowling on Tuesday and I brought some delicious GiGi's cupcakes (vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting and appropriately-colored Mardi Gras sprinkles) to share with my bowling team. Yum! I didn't bowl too well in the first game, but I made up for it in the next two (85, 125, 126).
Still busy reading entries. Tonight we're going out to another Murder Mystery dinner theater - "Murder at Club Babalu" (based on I Love Lucy). I'm looking forward to it - maybe I'll win a prize for solving the mystery again! :)
I'm sorry everyone. My RL really couldn't suck anymore. Free time? A concept I wish I could understand. The big tribes make it harder for me to even finish one at the moment. I'd say I hope life slows down for me soon... But who am I kidding? There's nothing I can think of that can help me out at the moment. I hate it :/
I've briefly considered leaving Idol, but then I realize it's about the only thing I do for "me" and I'd be giving into the forces that want my life to be constant working with no fun.... So I won't be doing that. It's just a struggle sometimes. I can only do what I can, I suppose. I am glad I do have something more to my weeks than just work, work, work though.
In other news, tomorrow night it's supposed to get down to 37. Consequently, we are all sick. I have the can't-breathe, eyes-swollen-shuts.
I will, however, finish my entry today.
Suddenly I feel less like a last-minute poster.
(Ok it could also be because it has me thinking a lot as there is some truth to it)
